Laser
diodes for spectral range 1.6£2.35
mm
mounted in HHL type package which include also 3-stage thermocooler,
thermoresistor and monitor photodiode can operate in pulse
regime and both CW and pulse regimes. This
regime allows us to cover very wide spectral range by changing the
thermocooler
current.
It
is
very
convenient for spectroscopy. Available temperature range in our LD
construction is more then 100 degrees - from -40C up to +60C.

As
an example you can see how changing the thermocooler current for our
model LD228p-HHL can shift the wavelength.
|
|
Standard Models LDXXXp-HHL and LDXXX-HHL are
made on the base of narrow-stripe laser structures and have single longitudinal mode structure (SLM)
that means that at definite current at temperature range main mode
is stronger then common intensity of other modes. LDXXX-HHL has average power in the range 1-5 mW.
LDXXXp-HHL has peak power about 10 mW
