| Light Emitting Diodes and Detectors for H2O sensors Water has very strong absorption band in the range 2550-2750 nm and second strong enough absorption band that can be used for measuring in the range 1830-1900 nm. | ||

| For measuring of water more convinient is using of second absorption band near 1880 nm. This band is weaker then main one but optical power of measuring source LED18 and reference LED16 or LED21 is much higher then power of LED34 and LED27 and also detectivity of PD24 is much better then for PD36. | ||

| For main absorption band we recommend using of our model LED27 as a light source in the measuring channel and LED34 as a reference light source. Photodiode PD36 can be used as a detector.

 | All Light Emitting Diodes and Photodiodes can be mounted in standard package TO-18, in TO-18 with parabolic reflector (PR) or in 9 mm package TO-5 with microcooler (TEC) and termistor inside. For saving you time at the first stage of development of new gas sensor we suggest you to use our LED Drivers and Preamplifiers. | |
